Our college, Yashwantrao Chawhan Arts, Commerce and Science College, Lakhandur is located in a greenly surroundings with Navegaon-Nagzira National Reserve Forest and hillocks with agriculture fields and a perennial river Chulbandh, tributary of Vainganga, flowing at outskirts of Lakhandur. The college is located at Sakoli-Wadsa on National Highway No. 353/C Tal. Lakhandur, Dist. Bhandara, Maharashtra (441803) is connected by bus (Lakhandur) and nearby railway station at Wadsa (18 km).
Our college, established in 1993 by Shri Kisanrao Khobragade Education Society, Armori, is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. We provide Undergraduate Courses in three Faculties viz. Arts, Commerce and Science, with B.A. covering 14 subjects, B.Sc. covering 11 subjects, B.Com. and Post-Graduation (MA with 5 subjects and MSc in Maths), Add-on courses (6 certificates) as well as distance learning courses through YCMOU (BA, BSc, MA, MSc, MBA).
Our college has digital automation from admissions up to leaving certificate (TC) generation, scholarship award to socially and economically backward students, e-library (INFLIBNET, Lib-Man) and access to online educational resources as well as high speed Rail-Tel Wi-Fi connectivity in the college premises.
